We are looking for volunteers to help collect controls after the event. This could be on the Sunday afternoon or a few days after the event. If you can’t make the rogaine but you are able to assist please contact email@example.com .
We need some help with logistics. Having a vehicle capable of towing is required.
Transporting the portaloo to the HH on Friday and taking it back to Hobart on Sunday. This could be handled by two separate volunteers.
Transporting equipment back to the shed on Sunday.
Beyond the Bangor Rogaine – there are no rogaines scheduled until the 2019 Australasian Championships which are being held on November 9th and 10th. We are looking for event organisers to step forward and assist with either a bike & foot event or a novelty question and answer metrogaine. You could reuse our Hobart eastern-shore or Kingborough region maps, or suggest an entirely unexplored area – maybe in the north of our state. The RT committee can assist with map production and admin support for your event. Sounds like an opportunity too good to let slip by, doesn’t it? Contact firstname.lastname@example.org if you are interested.
ARC2019 Positions Vacant
Planning continues for the 2019 Australasian Championships. We’ve had a brilliant response to our call for volunteers but there are still a few positions to fill:
First aid officer.
All-Night Café leader. This event will feature a second Hash House site, which runs only overnight, and we need someone to manage this venue.
Logistics helpers – transport, construction and deconstruction of the equipment for the Hash House and All-Night Café sites.
Catering helpers – Food will be supplied by our usual commercial caterer but some assistance at the Hash House and the All-Night Café is required.
The Annual General Meeting of Rogaining Tasmania will be held at the Hash House at “Bangor” near Dunalley at 12:30pm on Sunday, 2 December 2018. The AGM will be held while the 24 hour-event results are being processed.
