Dear All,
Thank you for entering the rogaine! We are looking forward to seeing you this weekend.
This email has been sent to all team members.
The Final Instructions document contains important information and can be downloaded HERE.
Some important points from the document include:
Team Registration
We have introduced some changes to how team registration occurs at this event. In previous Tasmanian rogaines, team registration and map collection occurred together. For this event, registration will occur prior to map collection and can be completed on Friday night or Saturday morning.
Mandatory Equipment
An important part of team registration will be a check of mandatory individual and team equipment. Read this part of the Final Instructions document carefully and ensure that you bring all required mandatory equipment to the event. Please make equipment available to our checking volunteers in clear plastic bags so we can complete the check as quickly as possible.
Mobile Phone
There is reasonable mobile phone coverage across the event area and if your team gets into trouble being able to make a call will be invaluable. Mandatory equipment for a team includes a mobile phone which will be sealed in a tamper proof bag supplied by the organisers. If your team is lost or has an injured team member, and you manage to contact us (or 000), we will ask for the coordinates of your location. We request you download the “Emergency Plus” app from the Google or Apple app store to facilitate this.
Waiver & Safety Form
Please complete, and take to the event, the Waiver and Safety Form which can be found at the end of the document linked above. This form requires your team number, which you can get from the current list of entries.
Queries?
For questions about the event or for team changes, please read RT’s Refunds & Team Changes policy, then email the relevant contact in the Final Instructions document linked above.
If you are a 6-Hour competitor who is staying on till Sunday afternoon, we are looking for checkpoint collectors. Every bit of help is great - even just a short walk to get a couple of checkpoints close to a road. If you can help for an hour or two please contact
See you there!
Regards
